How I work

Subscribe to software instead of buying it — here is how it works with me

Software of your own doesn't have to be a big project with a high budget paid all at once. With me, you describe your problem, I build the solution — and you subscribe to the result at a fixed monthly price. Here is what that means in practice.

You subscribe to the result, not the effort

The classic route to software of your own usually means a large sum paid all at once — and unless you also sign a maintenance contract, a program nobody looks after once it has been handed over. I deliberately don't take that route. I build the solution to your problem as a product, at my own risk — and you pay a normal monthly price, much like the tools you already know (Shopify, DATEV and the like).

  • No hourly rate, no project budget — a predictable fixed price per month.
  • You only pay once it runs and genuinely solves your problem — not for the attempt.
  • Operations, maintenance, updates and further development are included — software isn't finished at handover, that's when it starts to live.
  • Cancellable anytime, no minimum term.

That way your interests and mine sit on the same side: it has to keep running well, otherwise you cancel. That is my incentive to not just build it, but to keep it running.

And because I maintain your solution as a product that other businesses can use too, you benefit along the way: sensible improvements — no matter who prompts them — land with you as well, without you having to pay for each one alone. It still stays tailored to your workflow; over time it simply gains more.

From idea to a running solution in four steps

  1. 01
    Conversation

You describe your problem — I tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it. No obligation, no sales pressure.

  2. 02
    Concept

I design a solution that solves your problem — conceived as a product, not a one-off job.

  3. 03
    Product

I build the solution at my own risk. You only pay once it runs and genuinely solves your problem.

  4. 04
    Operations

You use the solution for a fixed monthly price. I run, maintain and keep developing it.

I don't need to know your industry

The expert on your business is you — not me, and certainly not some outside consultant. So I ask questions instead of telling you how your work should run. You need no tech knowledge: you describe the problem in your own words, translating it into a solution is my part.

And what if I quit?

You can leave anytime, with no minimum term. The software runs as a product that I operate — you don't own the code, you use a running solution (why the code can belong to you under a work contract →). But your data always belongs to you: if you cancel, you get it cleanly exported, and it is deleted afterwards. So you never lose your data, no matter what.
